Lovistry ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application that helps couples preserve and create heartfelt messages. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
An account is required to use Lovistry. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. You may optionally provide your name and your partner's name to personalize the experience.
Message Content
Lovistry stores the messages you choose to save, including:

- —Text extracted from photos of handwritten cards and notes using optical character recognition (OCR)
- —AI-generated letters and message suggestions you save
- —Metadata you provide such as occasion type, date, and recipient
Photos
When you photograph a card or note, the image is processed to extract text. If you choose to save the original photo, it is stored in your account. All scanned images and extracted text are retained in our systems.
Important Dates
You may optionally provide important dates such as your anniversary, your partner's birthday, the date you met, and other meaningful occasions. These dates are stored to help personalize reminders and message suggestions.
Analytics Data
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. This includes information such as app opens, feature usage patterns, session duration, and crash reports. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally. Firebase Analytics may collect device information, operating system version, and general location (country/region level) for analytics purposes.
Advertising Data
The free version of Lovistry displays advertisements. Our advertising partners may collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including device identifiers, general location, and interaction data. You can limit ad tracking through your device settings. Subscribers to our paid plans do not see advertisements and this data is not collected for advertising purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:

3. AI-Powered Features
Lovistry uses artificial intelligence to analyze your saved messages and help generate new message suggestions. This analysis:

- —Never shares your content with other users
- —Does not train general AI models accessible to others
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. Supabase provides encryption at rest and in transit, secure authentication, and access controls. Your account information, messages, OCR results, generated letters, photos, and important dates are all stored in Supabase's infrastructure.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

6. Your Rights and Choices

- —Correction: Edit or update your messages, dates, and account information
- —Ad Preferences: Limit ad tracking through your device settings, or subscribe to remove ads entirely
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information from our systems and instruct our service providers to do the same within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
Lovistry is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Lovistry after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
